2 Methods Were Productive Today
The skies were cloudy, the winds were calm, and that’s an excellent time to go fishing. I launched at the Hanover Street Ramps around 12:00 PM on Saturday, 8/14/04, and headed for the Chesapeake Bay.
The water temperature was 76.2 degrees and I had both fly and light spinning tackle rigged for action. The fish were active and some nice size stripers were landed from 18" to 25" both on lures and flies. A few flock of birds were working the water throughout the entire day. The larger fish were not caught under these birds. To locate the larger fish, back off the working birds, and fish your lure of fly on the bottom
